Teacher Performance Review that uses the idea of Webb's Depth of Knowledge to determine teacher performance. Each area of focus contains 4 items. Each item is evaluated based on the levels from "Inexperienced" to "Visionary". Point totals are given for each item in each evaluative area. If a teacher is "Visionary" in Instructional planning in all four areas, they would earn 20 points toward the total score, because each area is worth 5 points in the "Visionary" status. If they were "Professional" their point total would be 12 since each area in that level is worth 3. Each area is each category is scored independently. It is possible to be in the INstructional PLanning area that a teacher could earn a 5 in all areas except say "Content Flow" in which they are evaluated as "Professional" and the score earned for "Instructional Planning" is 18 total points. There are 180 total points and a scale is attached.
