The “New Word Clues” three cueing system’s strategies are appropriate for grades 1st-5th and beyond. The “New Word Clues” chart with three cueing systems’ strategies can be integrated into your daily reading instruction, included in student reading practice, and used to teach Common Core Reading Foundational Skills and Language Standards identified from the Common Core Standards’ links referenced on page 21. Group and student practice pages 6-20 are included for additional cueing system guided and independent practice.
