New Year's Resolutions on your mind?
This set of 10 cards is meant to remind students that, just like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, the most amazing gifts have been inside of each of them all along.
You can use these at the beginning of a new school year, the first week back to school in January, or whenever you would like discussions about good character to begin.
Print on card stock and cut.
Distribute the cards one per week during a class meeting, and discuss the meaning of the card and examples of what that character gift looks like, sounds like, and feels like in your learning community. Have students store the card in the little two-pocket folder (template and directions included). Or just hole-punch and let students add them to their Brag Tag key rings!
After all cards have been distributed, use them as a springboard for discussion at future class meetings, or give stickers or points when you notice a student using a particular gift.
