NOTE: There is an error on the answer key. 2017 is a prime number, not a composite number. I will change the file ASAP. Thanks!!
This product HAS BEEN updated for 2017. I do update this product every year!
As your students return from winter break, they may need to dust
off their math skills. This worksheet will do just that, with a fun little twist.
During this activity, students will solve problems using the numerals in the new year or the new year itself. Problems include categorizing numbers (prime, square, and composite), subtraction, multiplication, and division, exponential form, and expanded form.
As a twist, students have to find the "bingo": the row or column in which all of the answers have 4 digits.
When 2018 approaches, I will update the product for you.
