Ring in 2017 and celebrate the New Year by having your students complete this fun "2017" graphic writing.
Please note that this was made specifically for 2017. It may or may not be available for 2018 depending on if there is enough writing space for the 8 in 2018.
The "2017" outline features lines on each number. Keep in mind the lines follow the shapes of the numbers so they are not all the same length.
For the 2, students write about "something I got better at in 2016"
For the 0, they write "my resolution for school"
For the 1, they write "adjectives to describe me"
For the 7, they write "my resolution for school"
As you can see from the preview, this whimsical 2017 is perfect for a bulletin board display as you begin another new year. They would also look great hanging in the hallway.
Use it as morning work when kids return, possibly as a center activity, or maybe even a follow up activity to a discussion about resolutions. Use it in your own classroom however you would like.
