This is a simple yet adorable bulletin board that is just in time for the New Year. Your students will write their resolution on the New Year's party hat. They'll top the hat off with a pom-pom and glue the hat onto the face pattern. Using their art materials, each student will transform the face into their own. Color and attach the party-blowers, and you'll have a crew of kids ready to ring in the New Year. This will be an easy activity to do once back from the holiday break. Display the kiddies on the bulletin board. Everything you need to do this activity is in this packet. If you choose to top the hat off with a pom-pom, you'll need to make those available to the students. You can use construction paper to make the pom-poms if you choose. However, the store-bought pom-poms add that little 3D touch to the bulletin board.
Included in this 5 page packet is:
-New Year's party hat (This is where your students will write their New Year's resolutions) You can run these off on different colored paper to make it bright and cheery.
-Blank face pattern (no gender- no hair) Students can use this to make a boy or girl
-Girl face pattern
-Party noise blowers (4 come on a sheet- Photocopy them for your students to color, cut out and attach)
-Teacher Notes Page
