New Year's - Goal-Setting Craftivity
Get your students thinking about their goals for the New Year with this fun goal-setting craftivity.
Students will answer each of the six questions about their goals for the new year (academic, athletic, social, organizational, leadership, and one little word to set the tone for the new year). For each goal they set, they are also asked HOW they will meet the goal. I have also included a blank template for students to answer their own question, or create an illustration to symbolize the upcoming year (if you wish).
Students are also expected to add visual appeal to the craftivity through the use of color / decoration. Completed craftivities will make a great display – either on a table or ledge, or stapled to a bulletin board. Craftivities could also be added to the students’ portfolios once completed.
Completed craftivities can be assembled into a 3D book format (see next page for assembly instructions), or stapled together at the top or side in a flipbook format.
You have three different options for printing (you want your craftivity to be sturdy enough to stand on its own):
- Print on white construction paper
- Print on cardstock
- Print on regular paper, then glue onto construction paper and cut out the shape
For easier completion, be sure students complete each page BEFORE they assemble the craftivity.
This resource is included in my Holiday Craftivity Bundle which contains 10 different holiday themed craftivities to take you through the entire year.
