Sequencing can be a hard skill for some students to grasp. The printables in this packet are very basic and fun for little learners. You will need a sentence strip or a thin strip of paper for them to glue their pieces on. Have students color, cut and glue the pictures in order from largest to smallest or vice versa.
Vocabulary words such as; order, sequence, small, medium, large, tallest, shortest, smallest, biggest, etc. can be also be introduced and reinforced through this simple sequencing activity. I’ve included two sets of cards, a blackline set and and a colored set.
The colored set you can print on cardstock paper and use as sequencing cards in a center or for early finishers. I hope this is something you can use in your classroom.
