This elementary school counseling classroom guidance lesson is perfect for back to school or refreshing and refocusing after the holidays! Students participate in an activity to demonstrate why it is important for everyone to set their own goals that are personally meaningful and appropriate for them (there's no "one size fits all" goal for everyone!). Review SMART goal components, and then students create a SMART New Year's Resolution booklet to set a SMART goal for themselves!
Lesson plan (objective, outline, materials list, ASCA standards alignment)
→Visual aids (printable and PPT slides)
→SMART goals cut-out booklet in 2 sizes (boy and girl form)
→No cut, folding SMART goal booklet (boy and girl form)
