Ready to have your kiddos set goals and have fun doing it??? Then New Year's Resolution Friendly Letter Writing Craftivity is for you! Students will be writing a letter to a family member (or whoever they would like) explaining what they are learning about resolutions as well as three resolutions they have made for themselves this year.
After writing...there is an ADORABLE craftivity to accompany their letter. There are many different hairstyles for the girls to choose from as well as many for the boys as well (they love this)!!!
This unit includes:
What is a Resolution Anchor Chart Poster (2 Versions)
Planning Template (with temporal words)
Color & B/W Friendly Letter Writing Paper
Samples of Student Work & Planning Tmeplate for Modeling for students what's expected
Pictures of a variety of CRAFTIVITIES to choose from
-extra templates (optional)-
Pictures of how to display in hall or classroom (I copy the friendly letters and have students send them to who they wrote to before mounting to display....display is adorable!
This unit is great friendly letter practice, use of temporal words, and setting goals. I did include a What is a Resolution Poster, but I also like to use the book:
Squirrel's New Year's Resolution.
It really helps kids grasp the concept of what a resolution is and how to set one.
