Planning Calendar for New York City Public Schools:
UPDATED on August 22, 2016
Please let me know if this calendar is useful, by leaving a comment and rating. I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
I create this calendar each year for planning purposes, but it can be used for many school related tasks. Each month shows the number of instructional and conference days. It is very visual and allows you to see how many instructional days are in each month for our public schools.
It’s a great tool for teachers, as well as administrators. Some uses include:
Creating pacing calendars for each subject area
Planning and recording the rotation of reading, writing and math groups
Recording personal attendance
Recording when important items are due to supervisors
Recording and planning observation dates (for supervisors)
Keeping track of parent communication
Keeping track of special projects
Keeping track of the number of days (for morning math)
Look for my Year at a Glance Calendar, which is also free. Click here to get it.
Enjoy and have a great summer!
