Year at a Glance Calendar for New York City Public Schools:
Updated September 8, 2017
Please let me know if this calendar is useful, by leaving a comment and rating. I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
I create this calendar each year for attendance purposes, but it can be used for many school related tasks. Before ATS, teachers recorded attendance on a single page for each student in a little red roll book. The single pages showed “at a glance” a student's attendance record. I missed those single page calendars and I make my own each year.
This tool can be used for attendance, but it has many other uses for teachers and/or administrators:
Recording student attendance (for students with attendance problems)
Creating pacing calendars for each subject area
Planning and recording the rotation of reading, writing and math groups
Recording personal attendance
Recording when important items are due to supervisors
Recording and planning observation dates (for supervisors)
Keeping track of parent communication
Keeping track of special projects
Keeping track of the number of days (morning math)

Enjoy and have a wonderful summer!
