There is a building in New York City called the Flatiron Building! It is called this because of its distinct triangular shape that resembles that of an actual flat clothes iron. Known previously as the Fuller Building (named after its original owner and founder George A. Fuller), it is also sometimes called the “Cowcatcher” by locals.
This download contains a chapter from Hey Kids! Let's Visit New York City on the Flatiron Building that provides some information and history of the building as well as some fun facts.
Also included in this download packet is a coloring page and a word find puzzle all centered around the Flatiron Building.
This product is a digital download and can be copied and shared with your entire class.
