This activity is designed to provide access points for primary students and lower ability secondary students to respond to news and current affairs reports.
Basically students view a news or current affairs report and scaffold elements relating to who? what? where? when? why? and how?
I use this activity to complement a thematic unit based on 'survival' but it is flexible enough for use with other units.
