Product Description
This newsletter is based on images found on first day covers - envelopes with commemorative stamps, appropriate postmark and artwork, and it celebrates the 1863 anniversary of Gettysburg and the 1963 assassination of President JFK. The newsletter encourages students to look at the Gettysburg Address and the last public speech given by JFK in Ft. Worth, TX. Do both men embody the challenge to "ask what you can do for your country"?
Unfortunately image links are not live but can be found on my website. Print if off and put up on bulletin board, or use in group work settings. Students can analyze image on paper not on smart board.
