Newsletter is based on images found on first day covers - envelopes
containing commemorative stamps, appropriate postmark and artwork, that will introduce students to the 1963 March on Washington and the 1913 March on Washington. After analyzing the envelopes, students can draw conclusions and make comparisons to the two marches. Questions will help guide the discussion. The newsletter also has web addresses for students to "hear" the marches. Does the right to assemble help to create a more perfect nation? Print this off for the bulletin board, or for students to use at their desk.
