This is a great way to have a FUN review of the content and celebrate the year! Students use newspaper, masking tape and old assignments to create a costume for a historical figure learned about over the year. Then, the costumed student walks the runway while the group presents their creation, including the historical significance based on the the Big Ideas for social science. This comes with Medieval History people pictures to reference, but this can be done with any historical content and a textbook. Here's what you get:
✎ An assignment explanation sheet with requirements.
✎ A big ideas graphic organizer to prepare a quick presentation during the fashion show!
✎ Picture examples student costumes.
✎ Picture reference pages with nine historical figures including of samurai, Heian Court Nobles, Mansa Musa, Confucius, Montezuma, Charlemagne, knights, Martin Luther, Ibn Battuta
Have a great lesson!
