No-prep, nonfiction "book report" and projects for newspaper, magazine and computer articles.
With this resource students are provided the opportunity to choose any magazine, newspaper or computer article that fits their own interest and show their understanding of the text in a meaningful way. After the students have read their article, they will respond to higher level text structure questions and then choose from several differentiated enrichment projects to expand their understanding further.
Great for sub plans, or if you're studying a specific topic in science or social studies or current events, they may find an article of their own choosing to expand their knowledge authentically.
The students will answer questions pertaining to cause and effect, summary, author's purpose, point of view and more.
