NEWTON’S LAWS ACTIVITY BUNDLE include the following:

VOCABULARY FOLD: This is a review of the basic physics terms that students need to know for a physic unit. Students will sort vocabulary cards and diagrams in order to fill in an informational fold.

GUIDED NOTES: In this introduction to Newton’s Laws of Motions, students will be using guided notes and the assistance of a powerpoint to learn more about Newton’s Laws of Motion. This is written as a teacher directed activity, but can be modified to become a self directed activity or one that can be used in a flipped classroom.

FOLD AND SORT: Newton’s Laws of Motion have many examples that show how they can be applied. In this activity, students will be looking at examples of all three laws and join in discussion with group members as to which law it represents. The information is in the form are cards to sort and an interactive journal graphic organizer.

JOURNAL GRAPHIC: These are graphics that can be used to represent examples of Newton’s Laws of Motion. Students can label the direction of forces, and/or use higher order thinking to explain the application of Newton’s Law to the example. There are so many ways to use this, the possibilities are endless.
