In the gallery walk there are 8 pictures posted around the room. Students visit each station and determine which of Newton’s Laws of Motion is most obviously being displayed. If there is a question, they will answer it. They will then record which law is represented and explain why they chose that law.
Students work in groups of 3 or 4 and have about 2-3 minutes per station. Each student records his/her own observations and answers on his/her own worksheet. I use the online stopwatch projected on the board to keep track of time.
