Use this activity as an introduction to the novel. Students create a list of places they have traveled in New Jersey. Preparing them to access schema and brainstorm different locations that families might go on vacations.
While reading log locations on the T-chart. At the end of the novel use the T Chart to have students find locations that they may have in common with Nicky's adventures.
