A 4-slide Powerpoint that contains the following:
- slide 1: brief information about why Nitrogen and Phosphorus are important elements for organisms
- slide 2: a step-by-step breakdown of the Nitrogen cycle
- slide 3: information about the role of bacteria in the Nitrogen cycle
- slide 4: a step-by-step breakdown of the Phosphorus cycle
This presentation is designed as a lead in to an activity on one of these cycles.
I've included a research assignment where students create a fact sheet on one of the following cycles: nitrogen cycle, phosphorus cycle, carbon cycle, water cycle or deep ocean current.
This resources is designed with the Year 10 Australia Curriculum: Science course, but would be useful for students studying the cycles in any year of high school.
