I created and illustrated this social story for my special education students who tend to get frustrated at school and have a difficult time expressing themselves. This story shows them that it's okay to get upset and frustrated, but rather than crying, there are other ways to deal with their frustration.
At the end of the story, there is a page of "Calm Down Strategies" that have helped my students in the past. This can be printed as a visual chart or cut out as cue cards.
Enjoy! Your feedback will be greatly appreciated!
