PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This product was designed for a cute beginning of the year class book to use in preK-grade 2. Teach your students beginning of the year behavior by comparing and contrasting positive and negative behaviors. Begin by reading any of the David books by David Shannon. Have the students role play both correct and silly incorrect behaviors for transition times, rug time, center time, etc. After these activities, have each child pick a classroom behavior or rule to compare and contrast by illustrating in detail (negative with David, positive with themselves as the main character). Keep as a classroom library treasure that can be used as a refresher read anytime rules need to be revisited.
