This is the unit I use to teach Jean-Paul Sartre's existentialist masterpiece No Exit. It includes an excellent background lecture powerpoint on the playwright and philosopher and full text of the play with in-text questions; also, I have conveniently divided the play into three parts and it is 30-pages in my formatting. Questions have also been equalized across these three sections. If you want to use your own version of the play, I have also separated these questions out for that purpose. A quiz is included that also takes into account points regarding existentialism. There is a vocabulary activity, "thinking questions" for a Socratic seminar, and a film study section using the movie The Truman Show which is appropriately rated at PG. There is an essay assignment that builds off of the film study. I think you will find this unit to be well worth it.
