My goal for these materials are to create "no frills" interactive notebook. Most items are "cutesy" and sometimes impractical for students with disabilities or for male teachers. I use basic clear fonts with no curls or cute characters.
This item is part of a larger item (being created) which will include ALL 5th grade standards. Please check back with me (or e-mail me at email@example.com) to be updated on new files posted. Also - please leave honest feedback as this is my first attempt at creating interactive notebooks for my classroom based on items I have seen on the web.
This file contains two interactive notebook files for the common core standard 5.NBT.3b
Compare two decimals to thousandths based on meanings of the digits in each place, using >, =, and < symbols to record the results of comparisons.
The teacher input page contains information about the symbols and steps to comparing.
The student output page consists of a game played with a partner and dice.
There are pictures included to show how to set up the notebook with the documents.
