Do you want some fun exercises for your students that use adjectives? This is a great worksheet for you. This will be great for an in-class activity or for homework.
The first activity focuses on Proper Adjectives. This is a basic worksheet that will show students what proper adjectives are and how to identify them in a sentence.
The second activity is a table of words that are a combination of common nouns and adjectives. Students will need to pick and circle the adjectives in the table.
The third activity gives students one noun in a box and they fill in the circles with three adjectives that will describe that noun. This is great for students who are working on identifying adjectives.
The fourth worksheet has questions for students to answer in their own words. Example is, what are 3-4 adjectives that describe your favorite book? This way students can again work on being able to come up with their own words. If you want in this activity, have them write their favorite book, then use the adjectives do modify or describe. That way you know what they are describing.
