Do your students need help understanding the comparative and superlative forms of adverbs and adjectives? This is a great worksheet for them and you!! These worksheets are great for in-class work or homework. This 4 activity packet (7 pages) is a great way to introduce students to comparative and superlative.
The first activity is a basic table where students will write in the comparative and superlative form of each word. Very simple but it lets them see how words should look like with the –er and –est. It also has a section for the irregular form of some words.
The second activity is another basic table, but this one focuses on words that require more and most in front of the words. This again is a great activity for students to see and understand the comparative and superlative form of words with more and most.
The third activity has students filling in the table with given different forms of words and they will need to decide how to spell the words correctly. The fourth activity students will be filling in the blank with the correct spelling of the words in parenthesis. Student will get a comprehensive overview of comparative and superlative forms of words.
