iPad Literacy Creative Writing Activity {Primary Grades}

You can encourage creativity and have your students practice essential Common Core skills at the same time with this activity. An iPad is NOT required; in fact, I created this activity for a teacher who wanted something creative for her students to do while they were waiting to use (or already used) the class iPad.

The Common Core State Standards that are practiced in this activity include:

Grade 1 - W.1.1, W.1.2, W.1.3, W.1.5, W.1.6, W.1.8, L.1.1b, L.1.1c, L.1.1d, L.1.1e, L.1.1f, L.1.1g, L.1.1h, L.1.1i, L.1.1j, L.1.2b, L.1.2c, L.1.2d, L.1.2d., SL.1.4, SL.1.5, SL.1.6.

Grade 2 - W.2.3, W.2.5, W.2.6, W.2.8, L.2.1e, L.2.1f, L.2.6, SL.2.1a, SL.2.5., SL.2.6.

(Depending on how you use it in your class, some may not apply. A checklist for assessment is included.)
