Your students are going to LOVE these quick, easy, personal narrative editing stations, and YOU are going to love them even more! Just print the table tents, fold them in half, and place them around the room. Set the timer for the desired time you want each station to last and then GO!
These stations can go hand-in-hand with the Lucy Calkins Personal Narrative unit, or they can stand alone!
I like to put my fifth graders in groups of 2-3, and have them spend 3-4 minutes at each station. Then, I give them about 5 minutes at the end to re-read their work and finish any leftover editing they didn’t have time to complete during their rounds.
