This place value board game requires no preparation. Just print, and add one die and a playing piece for each player, and you are ready to use it right away. In this game students roll one die. After moving that number of spaces they will have to change a number in one form to a different form. Their partner checks the answer using the answer key and if they get it right they stay where they are, and if they get it wrong they must move back to where they last rolled. The first person to get to the "You Win" space is the winner. Numbers go up to 6 digits, and include standard, expanded, and word forms. This was made for the fourth grade common core math objective 4.NBT.A.2, but could also be used for advanced third graders.
