This activity combines decoding, sight word reading, fine motor skills, and handwriting. It reinforces uppercase letters at the beginning of a sentence and punctuation at the end of a sentence. Students can complete this activity independently, which makes it great for early finishers or students who need extra practice in these areas.
I have included 2 versions of the activity (4 pages each). In the simpler version, students read the sentence, trace the pre-written sentence, and then cut and paste the words in the correct order to make the sentence again. In the more complex version, students read the sentence, write it on their own, and then cut and paste the words in the correct order. Either way, they are reading, writing, and fine tuning their cutting skills!
