This NO-PREP STEM Escape Room science activity is the perfect, fun STEM activity for practice classifying vertebrates vs. invertebrates! The STEM escape content is suitable for use in 2nd grade, 3rd grade, and 4th grade. It can be completed individually or in groups, so it can also be used as a team-building science activity. Students love working to solve the engaging STEM activities and complete the escape room.
Stacy R: "I downloaded this activity last night and used it the next day! No prep!! Thank you so much!! Awesome product, looking forward to using more!" (August 2018)
Tutsy A: "This is awesome...I love that it is TRULY no prep, no printing, no cutting, just ready to go!!" (August 2018)
Through 3 escape "rooms", students must work to identify animals as either vertebrates or invertebrates (through examining pictures, text, and descriptions). If any students need assistance, full answer keys are provided so you can provide hints, as needed.
NO PREP!! The locks of the escape room are all automatically controlled by a pre-coded Google Form, so all you have to do is boot up a computer or tablet for each individual or group. Google Classroom is not required, only an internet browser. Hard copies of the puzzles are included if you'd like to print them out for your students, or you can just have them use scratch paper as needed for working out the solutions.
