Studies show the best way for students to practice sight words is to read them within text. And how do students love to practice sight words? Using stamps!!!
Students read the sentences and stamp the missing word. There is a word bank to help figure out which word will fit. At the bottom of the page there are pictures that go with the sentences. Students must be able to read the sentence to be able pick the correct picture. This is a NO PREP activity! Just print, copy, get out the stamps, and you're done!
The sight words are as follows (the last two pages are color word practice):
Page 1: mi, puedo, una, veo, y
Page 2: es, esta, mi, soy, tu
Page 3: con, el, en, gusta, yo
Page 4: ella, esa, las, nosotros, un
Page 5: anaranjado, blanco, café, morado, rojo
Page 6: amarillo, azul, negro, rosa, verde
These printables will be perfect for literacy stations, small group work, interventions, or even whole group practice.
