Help your students strengthen their subitizing skills with this fun free no prep packet!
Subitizing is the skill to "instantly see" quantity when looking at small groups of objects. This packet gives students the opportunity to practice working with the numbers one through five in ten frames, tallies, small groups of shapes, dice, and fingers. Each page contains a target quantity in which the students will seek out and stamp with their dot marker. Alternatively, you could laminate the pages and give students small tokens (like checkers) to cover the correct quantities to create a re-usable math center.
Use these pages for independent seat work, centers, or early finishers!
