PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Looking for a fun way to practice ta and ti-ti, or quarter note and eighth notes? This worksheet set is perfect for centers, large group work, supplemental work, sub plans, and more!

The worksheet set includes:
*Read and write patterns: Students read the rhythm patterns then write the rhythm patterns. Standard and stick notation versions are included.
*Roll and write patterns: Students roll a die, then trace the pattern in that column.
*Food Syllables and Food Patterns: Students count the number of syllables in each picture. Included are worksheets for counting words with 1 and 2 syllables, as well as indicating whether each word is ta or ti-ti.
*Unique Rhythms: Students read the rhythm pattern, then make the pattern unique by writing the rhythm pattern but changing one beat! Standard and stick notation versions are included.
*Copy the patterns: Students copy each pattern they see, which gives them great practice writing! Standard an stick notation versions are included.
*Trace the Rhythm: Students trace the rhythm of known songs and chants, including “Apple Tree,” “Queen Caroline,” and “See Saw.” Standard and stick notation versions are included, as well as alternate versions of “Apple Tree” and “Queen Caroline,” so you can use the worksheets if you use alternate versions with different rhythms!
*Trace the Rhythm/ Circle the Form: Students trace the rhythm and circle either the fruit or letter form for “We are dancing” and “Mouse Mousie.” (i.e. apple banana apple banana for “We are dancing,” or ABAB.)
*Dictate the rhythm: Students look at the lyrics, sing or speak the song or chant to themselves, and dictate the rhythm of “Apple Tree,” “Bee Bee,” and “2,4,6,8.” An alternate version with slightly different words is included for “Apple Tree.”
*Color the patterns: Students color different rhythm patterns different colors. Standard and stick notation versions are included.
*First Patterns: Students dictate the first pattern of each song/chant: “We are dancing,” “Bee Bee,” “Apple Tree,” “Engine Engine,” and “Rain Rain Go Away.” Standard and stick notation versions are included.
*Compose your own rhythm: Students compose 16 beats of rhythm using ta and ti-ti. Standard and stick notation versions are included.
*Keys for the worksheets: Note, this only includes keys for the worksheets that have answers (as some of the worksheets are only for tracing/ writing practice)
*Directions for the set
