For students that are learning the difference between facts and opinion these activities will be great for your students. These are comprehensive activities that will teach your students as well as challenge them.
One activity has statements and the students need to decide if they are facts or opinions or an activity that students have to unscramble sentences and state whether it’s a fact or opinion. Then my favorite activity has a list of nouns and students have to write one sentence using that word as a fact and one as an opinion. I like these activities because it not only works on the skill at hand but it gives them a chance to work on their sentence writing as well.
