Preschoolers love anything they can carry like this. There are a couple of ways to use it. The ark is black & white for you to print on a heavy brown cardstock. Cut the front and back out around the outside and cut out the center for the handle. Fold back the tab at the bottom and glue to the inside of the back piece. The ark can open like a file folder.
Print the animals onto paper if you are gluing them inside the ark, or cardstock if you are going to reuse them. The kids can march the animals right into the ark! They can glue them inside. Or, you can add an envelope or pocket inside to store them. I had Noah and his wife stickers I let them add to their ark also.
You could also cut out 2 sides of the door and fold it and cut out the window you'd like for more playing fun.
Please note that there is only one door and one window as stated in Genesis 6:16.
*This includes the black and white ark and an ark that is already in color. Also, this only includes 20 sets of animals in color only. I just randomly picked animals that preschoolers would recognize from the same designer. This obviously does not include a pair of each animal that went on the ark. This set does not and did not intend to encompass all the different animals that God created. Just 20. You can purchase more clipart from Educlips if you would like to add more from the same designer. Sorry, I didn't have a Noah from this designer, so just the animals and ark are included.
