In this writing activity the students are
defining what a nocturnal animal is and what kinds of animals are nocturnal.
On Monday the students are completing a KWL chart and lesson with the teacher. On Tuesday the students write the definition and identify 4 nocturnal animals. Wednesday is the rough draft, the students will use Tuesdays paper to copy and
edit their work. On Thursday is the final copy. Friday they get to do the illustration. For the illustration the students get to make a mask of their favorite nocturnal animal!
