Are you looking for a fun way to study flat and solid shapes?
Noggin' Bandz is the activity you've been looking for!
How to play:
Choose one child at random to wear the headband. Without the child looking, attach one shape card to the front of the headband- either by paperclip or Velcro.
Next, the child takes a quick walk around the room to ensure all students have a chance to see the card.
Students who have a clue should raise their hands. Encourage students to generate clues that use mathematical vocabulary or real world examples.
The child with the headband may choose three peers to give their clues. Next, the child should make a guess as to what shape is on their head.
Play continues until everyone has had a turn or until time runs out.
