This classroom management resource is suited for year 4-12 students in Primary and Secondary Schools.
The resource is great for reminding students where their noise level should be, whilst working. Before, or whilst using this resource, it is essential to let students know what each level means. Additionally, you could provide pictures of emoticons or further explanation of each level.
I have provided 2 options for the title, I use both, depending on how I arrange on the board (horizontal I use the larger title, vertical I use the smaller).
- To Assemble I usually print the pages out and line all of the levels up, so I can cut to size – about 1.5-2cm around the edge.
- I then mount onto coloured paper (black writing: red, yellow, green, blue).
- I laminate everything and attach magnets on (the magnetic tape from DAISO is amazeballs, and quite cheap).
Because everything is individually laminated, it gives me the freedom to move it around on the board, arranging it vertically or horizontally.
I have used a KG Font ‘Second Chances Sketch’, which I downloaded from TPT.
