PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In this project, students will be illustrating their understanding of how and why nomads stopped moving around and started settling in complex villages and later setting up larger civilizations. Students will illustrate their understanding of the process through movement and dance. Therefore, this project is an effective way to combine movement and history; while still holding students accountable for understanding the process. Students will focus on key ideas from the time period; such as the invention of tools and language, the Agricultural Revolution, domestication, surplus, and specialization.
