This is a resource meant for parents who wish to learn English but can also be used to teach students who are literate in Spanish, in order to assist them with acquiring letter names and sounds in English. This is essential beyond vocabulary, as they already have the literacy knowledge of letter-sound relationships, blending and reading comprehension (assuming they have been taught this in Spanish).
Recommended for 2nd grade "newcomers" and above, or parents who wish to support their student in acquiring the English language (or learning it themselves).
