Product Description
This free file contains two different brainstorming maps (with four options of each representing different children) for both "how-to" and "all about books". My students use these maps in the same way they use heart maps for narrative writing. They brainstorm and then write down all the things they know how to do (or know all about). Then we keep the map in their folder throughout our writing unit for them to refer back to when they get "stuck" and can't think of anything to write about!
