This is a fun way to culminate your non-fiction reading unit! For this project, students are required to read multiple sources (books, articles, e-books etc) on the same topic. They then create an interactive fact or fiction board about their topic. Half of their notes are facts and half are fiction (but seem like facts to trick the reader). The students write the actual fact beneath each fiction statement. Not only did students enjoy the project, and the gallery walk where they learned about each-others topics, but they rest of the school loved interacting with their projects as they were hung in the hallway!
