This is something I created to use with my 1st graders during one of our nonfiction units of our reader's workshop curriculum. This comes in a series of lessons that require the students to "jot down" their thinking when reading a non-fiction book. The lesson previous to this was about using think marks when reading a non-fiction book. Instead of using post-it notes again for this lesson, I created this flip book and made multiple copies for students to use with any book!
Although the thumbnails show differently, each page has 4 squares on it that are all the same. This makes it VERY easy to copy, print and staple!
