This game board will help your students to read books in a variety of non-fiction sections of the library. It includes both the subject name and the Dewey Decimal number, to help students locate books.
Students will read their way around the game board, coloring in squares and writing the titles on a recording sheet copied on the back of the game. They will learn to find high-interest topics that should be available in most school libraries.
This informational text game board includes 16 non-fiction subjects, plus four spaces for free choice non-fiction.
There are two versions of the game board included. One version has a star every five spaces for students to collect a prize from their librarian or teacher. The other board has no stars and no built-in rewards.
