Product Description
This item utilizes a non-fiction article published by The Washington Post online ("America as a new Rome") about the misperception that modern America is comparable to ancient Rome...and therefore, destined to fall. **NOTE before purchasing: the article itself would be impossible for a teacher to afford to purchase copyright. I provide a link to the online article so you may access it as you wish, but your purchase is for the questions over the article. Please do not purchase if you are going to be disappointed in having a link to the article (as opposed to the article itself, which I am unable to provide.) Thanks!**

As Texas teachers prepare for the new STAAR (End-of-Course) testing, we are facing a shortage of test prep materials. Thus, we are making our own. This product includes the original article plus 10 multiple-choice questions in STAAR format.

This could be used for practice--or as a benchmark to gauge where students are in relation to prepping for the Reading test.

Key is included.
