Description

Challenge your students to be text detectives! Strengthen their knowledge of non-fiction text features by having them search for them in books. This activity works with any non-fiction book and can be easily adjusted to a student's reading level!

This was designed as a center to complement Second grade Wit and Wisdom Module 4 but can be used with any curriculum!

This center focuses on CCSS RI.2.5- Know and use various text features (e.g., captions, bold print, subheadings, glossaries, indexes, electronic menus, icons) to locate key facts or information in a text efficiently.
