Using this package, students read a non-fiction article of your choosing then use the information they learn to write a fictional account of an experience in that real environment or situation.
For example, students may read a non-fiction article about the Great Barrier Reef, taking notes on the graphic organizer as they go, then write a short fictional story about a time they went snorkeling or scuba diving.
